For all of you who do not know me, my name is Kelly. I am 30 years old and I am a mother to two beautiful babies. Well. one isn't a baby anymore. I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter named Jaylee and a 7 month old baby boy we call Marshall.
I am on a mission to save our mother earth for my children and their children and so on and so on. I started with trying cloth diapers and then making the switch. Both my kids are in cloth diapers and I bought biodegradable diapers as well. After I made the switch I realized that I was still using disposable wipes, so then I switched to cloth wipes and biodegradable wipes. Then I realized what is the sense in putting a biodegradable product into a plastic trash bag, where it will just sit in a landfill anyways. So I bought biodegradable trash bags.
It is funny how when you start with making one positive change, it becomes a chain reaction. You become more aware of things. Like how much waste one person can produce in a day. I noticed in one week, how much we decreased our trash output. I am interested in finding other parents who have already made the change, or who are interested in making the change. Maybe we can work together and make a difference!
I will keep posting products and ideas on here. And it would be great if someone out there could give me some ideas as well. I am looking forward to blogging with you all.
